Flower Garden at The Hive Homestead

I am opening my flower garden for u-pick events this year (2026). I grow over 20 varieties of cut flowers. Visit our Homestead to pick your own fresh cut flowers every Sunday and Tuesday starting end of June. You can reserve your tickets here. I’m also planning to be at a Farmers Market on Thursdays with lots of pre-made bouquets for your enjoyment. I will post when I know which one. I love sharing beautiful in-season blooms from my garden with all of you.

Experience the joy of being surrounded by beautiful flowers. Take in the colours and ambiance and pick your own bouquet from different varieties I grow in my garden, taking photos, relaxing and having fun with your friends and family. I believe that flowers are a simple way to add more joy into your everyday - that’s why I’m committed to providing you with locally grown, in-season blooms!

Morning and evening u-pick windows – beat the morning heat or enjoy the beautiful sunsets at our farm

  • Advance ticket purchase is required. Tickets are $28 per adult and $10 per child if picking flowers. Children are free if they are just coming with you for a visit.
  • Your ticket grants you access to the flower garden where you will be provided with a container with water for your flowers (to take home). Extra container is $20.
  • Please bring your own scissors. I can lend you garden cutters for your visit but you will need to sign a waiver form.
  • You are welcome to cut from whichever plants you choose in my flower garden and as many as you can fit in your container.
  • I’ll be there for any questions or assistance during your visit.
  • Please be aware that there are no public restrooms on the property.
  • Please be aware that my garden pathways are grass covered. It might be hard for some strollers, walkers or wheel-chairs. The pathways will be cut prior to your visit.
  • Please leave your pets at home. We have chickens on the homestead and we don’t want your pets to get too excited and start chasing the chickens all over the farm.
  • Please wear farm appropriate attire. Bring sunscreen and a water bottle.
  • Please be aware that the flowers are located outside and they are frequently visited by multitude of insects. If you have any allergies please be prepared with appropriate medication if needed.
  • In the event of rain, I will cancel and reschedule your reserved time slot if possible or issue a full refund. I will notify all participants via email.
  • Lastly, I ask that you please be respectful of the property. This is our home and I have worked hard to grow the flowers so that many visitors can enjoy them, all season long.
